Sedal Hair Products 2020

I personally believe that first impression counts and that aside from our smiles, we should also care for our hairs and what better way to do so than to use Sedal Hair Products to keep our hair long and soft. Have you heard of Sedal? I believe it is mostly known as Sunsilk in most countries. Sedal (as Latin Americans call it) has been around since 1954. In fact here is a timeline of how they have been performing for more than three decades.

1954: First launched Sedal shampoo in the UK market

1959: It was already available in 18 countries worldwide.

1961: It was re-branded. The name Liquid was removed.

1966: Sedal took time to improve their hair products. During this year, they launched the first ever shampoo to contain olive oil which as they advertised would act as a conditioner that would make the hair soft and manageable. It also served as a shampoo that would restore the hair’s natural shine for dull hair, and a lemon shampoo that dealt with greasy hair. The last shampoo contained deep cleansing ingredients to get rid of the oils that made the hair greasy.

1964: A decade after it’s first launch. Sedal introduced their hairspray to the public.

1969: Sedal shampoo was repacked into PVC bottles which was larger compared to the glass bottles but can be bought for the same price.

1970s: From 18 countries, Sedal was now marketed to 27 countries and was considered as the closest thing to a global hair care brand.

1973: The company introduced an aerosol-dispensed setting lotion.

1980: Again, the brand was re-launched, and with the re-launch came improvements and eye catching packaging designs.

1985: Sedal’s styling mousse was launched.

1987: A conditioning mousse followed the styling mousse.

1993: Another launch for the company! Their products have been given a new set of shampoo and conditioners which have been developed to mainly meet the needs of women’s hair and also to reflect the way women thought about their hair. This was when the company launched the famous “Elida Hair Institute”. You’ve probably heard of it, I assume?

2001: The brand’s expansion neither stops nor slows down. Now, they have ventured into hair colourant for Asian-type hair. Asians could choose from seven permanent colors. It was first launched in India, Pakistan, and Thailand.

2020: Nowadays, Sedal or Sunsilk continues to top the market for their hair products.

So what can you choose from? Let’s take a look, shall we?

SEDAL HAIR PRODUCTS

SHAMPOO

Sedal Shampoo

Price:6.99 US DOLLARS

There are many Sedal Shampoos that you can choose from, it all depends on what your hair needs. Let’s take for example the shampoo in the picture above, this is Sedal’s Ceramide Shampoo. It is great for dull looking and lifeless hair. When I say lifeless, I mean hair that has lost it’s shine and bounce because of the constant damage done to it by hairdryers, hair irons, and colorants. The pink Ceramide shampoo will be able to help restore the nature shine and strength of your hair strands right from the first use. The Ceramide will be able to improve your hair’s resistance to breakage and damage compared to shampoos without Ceramides.

The orange bottle is Sedal’s Instant Restoration shampoo. It is a little bit priced more than the previous pink bottle shampoo, and for good reason. You can purchase a 340 ML bottle of Sedal’s Instant Restoration shampoo for 14.13 US DOLLARS.

As the name of the shampoo suggests, it will restore your hair back into it’s natural glory before all the damage and pollution has changed your hair. Your hair will have it’s natural bounce again.

They also have “special” shampoos like the anti-pollution shampoos and the anti-knots shampoo.

CONDITIONERS

Aside from shampoos, Sedal has also a line of conditioner that you can choose from. It is a rule that the product that you should choose should be the one suited for what is needed by your hair.

Let’s take this conditioner for example.

Sedal Conditioner

This conditioner has been made specifically for curls.

You can purchase this for 8- 11.06 US DOLLARS. If you have naturally curly hair and you want to have a better control of it, or to make it more manageable. I know that curly hair tends to be frizzy. This conditioner might work for you.

TREATMENT CREAMS

Now this is just to spoil your hair and give it the extra tender loving care that it needs. Treatment creams are great to use once or twice every two weeks. Think of it like vaccines for your hair to keep it extra healthy and strong.

Of course, treatment creams are a little more expensive than your normal shampoo and conditioner. You can purchase the one in the picture for 17.99 US DOLLARS.

How do you use it? You simply wash your hair like you normally do, and then while your hair is damp and rinsed from the shampoo, you will need to apply the treatment cream thoroughly into your hair and scalp. Leave it for a few minutes and then rinse it out. You’ll feel that you hair has gotten softer, bouncier, and shiner. You don’t need to do this everyday so one container really lasts for a while. It also depends on how much you put into your hair.

STYLING CREAMS

This product is perfect for those who go out everyday and style their hair. I think this would also be great for women who use hairdryers, hair irons, and hair curlers on a daily basis.

You can buy 2 300 ML containers for 25.49 US DOLLARS.

From the name itself, the cream will help you style your hair easier while also making sure that your hair doesn’t get so much damage from being styled. You can expect stronger hair (because it is protected from the damage brought about by hair ironing etc) and also more shine because the moisture of the hair is protected. The oils don’t dry out, which is great.

LEAVE-IN CONDITIONERS

This one works like your conditioners except that you only use it once a week, and you don’t wash it out. If for example, your hair gets dry and frizzy during the middle of the day, you can grab you Sedal leave-in conditioner and apply a small amount into your hair. You will find that your hair is looking more refreshed like you just washed it.

Sedal Leave In Conditioner

The only thing you have to watch out for in leave-in conditioners is putting too much. Since you can’t wash it off, you have to make sure that the amount that you apply isn’t too much so your hair won’t look so greasy and wet. Also applying too much can cause headaches and your scalp could get irritated, because remember you can’t wash it out.
